Mary Ann was born September 20th 2007. She loves to eat and laugh. Being tickled has to be one of her favorite things to engage in. She loves people and can be a flirt from time to time. She loves her freedom to run and roam around her environment and find new things to look at and try to play with.
We received a diagnosis of Rett syndrome on in December 2010, right after Mary Ann had turned 3 and lost all her words, As a single mom it has been difficult to cope with everything life has thrown at us but Mary Ann has brought so many wonderful people into our lives and she has taught me the meaning of unconditional love and true patience. She plays with her little sister Mia who makes sure she is included in any activity that we try and do as a family. Day to day is a difficulty for all of us but we manage to find fun and happiness daily.
