RMRA is teaming up with QiFlow, a gym in Denver on Steele Street to provide a Spin Class Fundraiser. Participants can sponsor a bike for either $250/person as a four-person relay team or $1000 as an individual. The event goes from 8:30am to 1pm. All proceeds will go to RMRA and the Rett Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Ride 4 Rett is made possible through the partnership of RMRA, QiFlow, and several of Denver’s best spin instructors including Dawnelle Arthur, Laura Bordeaux, Sarah Fox, and Natalie Magee, who will continuously offer top notch spinning classes during the entire event. Other vendors will be present as well. Read more about Laura and Natalie below. Sarah’s and Dawnelle’s bios will be posted when they are available.

Laura Bordeaux

Laura’s love for fitness was cultivated from growing up in an active family and years of competing as a collegiate swimmer, runner, triathlete and endurance racer.  She kick-started this career in 2007 by training U.S. Navy active duty military personnel in preparation for deployment. Her experience as an endurance athlete has lent itself to promoting a fitness regimen that is progressive, functional and comprehensive with centrifugal focus on injury prevention. She is a Master Trainer for TriggerPoint Therapy, the Strength & Conditioning Coach at Kent Denver School and a multi-region cycling instructor at Flywheel Sports.

Natalie Magee

I’m a 200hr-RYT and certified cycle and barre instructor who enjoys nothing more than taking my yoga and fitness off the mat and into the outdoors. I’ve climbed 53 of Colorado’s 58 peaks over 14,000 feet and my goal is to climb them all in my lifetime. I enjoy hiking so much that I’ve combined it with yoga to offer adventure retreats through my business – Yogi Magee Expeditions. My passion is motivating others to lead a healthier more adventurous lifestyle! “Training for life” is my motto and I infuse it to each class I teach and a successful class for me is when my students are left covered in sweat and stronger than when they walked in the door. When I’m not climbing, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing or teaching yoga you can find me spending time with my husband, daughter and vizsla or flying the friendly skies as a flight attendant. I also have a cat and four chickens and two pygmy goats I begged my husband to let me have. Suffice to say we now have a mini-farm. I also stay busy putting my Bachelor’s in Journalism degree to use as a contributor for Denver Metro Mom’s Blog. Visit me in the studio and stay in touch at yogimagee.com!
