Gift-Giving Made Easy

The holidays are always a busy time of year – preparing for family to come into town, getting the house ready, and then there are the gifts! What to get? We have three suggestions for you:

King Sooper Cards

Did you know that all Kroger affiliates donate 5% of every dollar spent using the King Soopers Gift Cards to Rocky Mountain Rett Association? It is easy, purchase a re-loadable gift card and every time you shop, you help the RMRA!

Talk about the ideal gift for all those teachers! Cathy Shorma told us, she buys little spice boxes with a recipe and a King Soopers pre-loaded card. Such a neat idea! Check out the image:

How does it work?

First, request a card by contacting Carrie Rose-Matens. She will send it to you by mail. Then you load your card at the customer service desk before you go shopping. When you are ready to pay for your groceries, you just present the card. It can be re-loaded every time you go shopping, so RMRA benefits every time you get food for your family. Same is true when getting gas at the King Sooper’s gas station!

AmazonSmile

Most, if not all of us, utilize the convenience of Amazon in our daily lives. Next time you order online, be sure to select RMRA on the AmazonSmile page. It’s a simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization, like RMRA – every time you shop, at no cost to you. AmazonSmile works like the Amazon you know, with the same login info, same product offerings and same prices.

How does it work?

You just have to go to smile.amazon.com and select RMRA as your charity of choice. From now on, every time you shop on AmazonSmile (instead of Amazon), Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to RMRA!

To shop at AmazonSmile simply go to smile.amazon.com from the web browser on your computer or mobile device.

Ask for a donation

If you are one of those people who has everything and just don’t want to get another knitted sweater from Aunt Dori, then this might be the right thing for you! Ask for donation in lieu of gifts. It’s easy, just tell them your favorite charity is the Rocky Mountain Rett Association and you would appreciate a donation instead of a gift.

Colorado Gives offers a platform where you can choose to donate to RMRA with just a simple press of a button.
