Great times at RMRA’s Mardi Gras Fete 2023!

The 5th annual RMRA Mardi Gras Fete was a blast! 

On February 25th, 2023, we hosted the event at the mystical Mercury Cafe in downtown Denver, a dedicated partner of RMRA.

This special event raised over $30,000 with our live auction items, paddle raiser, drawing for Bruce Springsteen tickets and event ticket sales. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Rett Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado. 

MC Miss Monroe once again did an outstanding job as the event MC - keeping everyone engaged, entertained and on their toes. The talented Rhinettes curated custom dances just for the attendees of the event. 

The guest raved about the New Orleans themed dinner that the Mercury Cafe provided. Dr. Tim Benke, Medical Director of the Rett Clinic gave us insights into gene therapy and clinic growth. We heard inspiring stories from Tania Moore, Rett parent to Tatum. The Judi Masters Award was presented to Patrick Callahan, long-time R4R director and RMRA board member, who has raised more than $500,000 for the Rett Clinic.

As a special fundraising item, RMRA was donated 4 VIP tickets to the Bruce Springsteen concert at the Ball Arena on March 2nd. The lucky winners that were drawn during the Mardi Gras Fete are Heidi Hedges and Tracy Opps.
