Successful 13th Annual Walk n’ Roll raises $15,300

On August 12th, 200 people gathered at Clement Park to participate in RMRA’s 13th Annual Walk n’ Roll. As in the previous 13 years, we lucked out with beautiful weather. Participants enjoyed a balloon magician, face painting, exploring the Littleton Fire Truck, a leisurely walk around the lake, and topped it off with a free and delicious chuck wagon lunch.

“The Walk is an opportunity for Rett families and supporters to interact with each other and establish a community. We have some families that attended for the first time this year, and others who have been coming for 13 years.” Corinne Magid, RMRA Board President.

We are extremely grateful for our new sponsors – Ranstad, West Family Foundation and First Bank – and look forward to partnering with them in the future.

New this year we sold RMRA merchandise in the form of t-shirts, water bottles and bracelets. Art Fregoso of Premier Sporting donated his time to personalize the t-shirts onsite.

Thanks to sponsorships, donations and selling merchandise, the Walk n’ Roll in 2017 raised $15,300 this year.
